I just hope that if anything I can talk to people with similar interests and at the very least have an outlet to write on.

I feel like this is a pretty ramble-y post for an introduction but eh. We release one episode a week and we'll be recording another one tomorrow. yep totally not what everyone else does). The podcast is called Comicast and we focus on pop culture (MCU, DCEU, Star Wars, Gaming, & more - a totally niche market that no other podcast does. It's been something I've been working on for over 5 years now, we're up to over 450 episodes not including bonus/special one-off episodes. I'll also try and share my podcast content here too (great another 'hey listen to my podcast guy'). I'll also repurpose some of my Hive content on here as well since I've already posted some reviews for a few things. Here I'll probably be posting mainly more nerd/movie/gaming takes that I have but we'll see. I've been an avid gamer for years (Xbox but love all the platforms), huge movie fan (just saw Glass Onion - freaking amazing), an all-around sports fan (basketball is the best, and avid audiobook/podcast listener (Quiet Part Loud from Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions is amazing and is a must listen). I work on 4 podcasts currently, 3 as an editor and 1 as both editor/cohost. In regards to myself, I'm a podcasting, gaming, sports, movie, tv film fan. So, we'll see how it goes on here with cohost, I've been posting on Hive way more than I have in the past with other platforms and hopefully cohost becomes that for me too.

Also, it's not even really to try and gain follows or have so many shares or whatever, I think for me at this point is just to have an outlet for myself. I'm trying to be better though about not talking myself out of literally every thought for a post I have. The prospect of writing longer form content for me has always been something I've been wanting to do more of but of course when I finally find a platform that allows me to do so my brain goes into overdrive with thoughts of no one cares, why would anyone read this, your writings aren't great, and just on and on from there. Hence why my first post is so many days after the fact. My account here on cohost was finally activated about 12 days ago but as I do with most social media platforms, I join them and then get cold feet to actually use them.
